The Master of Investment Management by Coursework Mode at Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) aims to equip graduates with the necessary knowledge and practical skills for successful careers in the complex finance and investment industry.
The program provides a solid foundation in finance and investment, enabling graduates to pursue higher-level studies. Upon successful completion, students are eligible for exemptions from 3 out of 4 modules of the Certified Financial Planner certification program. The only module that needs to be completed separately is Module 4, which focuses on Financial Plan Construction and Professional Responsibilities. This pathway enhances graduates' qualifications and career prospects in the financial sector.
A Bachelor's Degree in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 out of 4.00 or its equivalent qualification which is accepted by the Senate.
