The Master of Science (Food Science) by Research Mode at Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) focuses on advanced research in food chemistry, food microbiology, biotechnology, nutrition, processing, innovation, food product development, and food safety.
Graduates of this program are equipped to contribute significantly to the nation's economic growth, particularly in the food and agriculture sector. They will also be prepared to tackle global challenges such as food security, malnutrition, and food safety issues, making a meaningful impact in both local and international contexts.
A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6, Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) in Food Science or Food Science related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, as accepted by the Senate.
