The Doctor of Philosophy (Engineering) by Prior Publication at UCSI University is specifically designed for experienced researchers who have a substantial body of peer-reviewed work. This program allows candidates to obtain a doctoral qualification by showcasing the originality, significance, and impact of their existing research.

This pathway is particularly beneficial for established academics and professionals, as it formally recognizes their research achievements without requiring them to undertake new studies from scratch. This program provides a streamlined approach for experienced researchers to attain their doctoral degree based on their prior contributions to the field.

Entry Requirements

• A Master’s degree in engineering or related fields, with a minimum of FIVE (5) publications or equivalent works as the first or corresponding author, aligned with the theme of the specialisation, within TEN (10) years prior to the application date.
