The Diploma in Information Technology (TVET Module) at UCSI University is designed for individuals with little to no computing knowledge as well as those aiming to pursue careers in computer-based environments, particularly in programming and information systems. This 2.5-year program offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers a range of relevant IT courses, equipping students with essential knowledge and skills in areas such as:

Programming
Databases
Multimedia
Networks

In addition to IT-focused courses, the program incorporates non-IT subjects like marketing, business communication, and problem-solving, ensuring students develop transferable skills that enable them to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively.

Furthermore, the Faculty partners with key multinational corporations, providing students with opportunities to apply theoretical learning in practical settings through actual projects during their co-operative placements. This hands-on experience enhances their employability and prepares them for the demands of the job market.

Entry Requirements

STPM

Possess SPM with at least THREE (3) credits in any subjects (inclusive of Mathematics or any equivalent qualification)
