The Foundation in Arts (Built Environment) at UCSI University is designed to prepare students for the evolving challenges and opportunities presented by the Fourth Industrial Revolution in the built environment sector. As buildings and urban spaces become more complex, professionals in this field must equip themselves to address these emergent challenges.

This one-year program employs an integrated and synergized approach, providing a cross-disciplinary introduction to built environment-specific subjects. This foundational knowledge helps students transition smoothly into their chosen specializations—such as architecture, interior architecture, or quantity surveying—at the degree level. 

By laying a solid groundwork in the principles and practices of the built environment, the program prepares students to excel in their future studies and careers.
