The Foundation in Science (Applied Sciences) at UCSI University is designed to prepare students for the rapidly evolving field of science applications, particularly in light of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This interdisciplinary and comprehensive program offers a strong foundation in science and mathematics (STEM) to help students embark on their career paths.

With a special focus on core disciplines, the program enhances students' understanding and ensures a smooth transition into their chosen degree studies, whether in Biotechnology, Food Science and Nutrition, or Aquatic Science.

Learning is facilitated through a variety of methods, including laboratory work, field studies, and industrial visits, supported by top-notch facilities and resources. Instruction is delivered by a distinguished faculty comprised of professors who are also prominent industry experts, providing students with a rich learning experience that bridges academia and industry.

Minimum 5 Credits (inclusive one Mathematics and two Science subjects)
