The Master of Science (Biotechnology with Business Management) programme is intended to offer students a dynamic and immersive learning experience that combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills in biotechnology and business management. Students learn how to use scientific equipment, perform guided research, and analyse complicated scientific data through a combination of classroom instruction, laboratory practicals, and intensive research projects. The curriculum includes a full research project in which students plan and carry out surveys or experiments in biotechnology, ending in a business proposal explaining ideas for commercialising their findings. The emphasis is on developing critical thinking, communication, leadership, and teamwork skills required for success in the biotechnology business. Assignments, presentations, case studies, and conversations are examples of continuous evaluation methods used to ensure continuing participation.

Entry Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75, or its equivalent, as accepted by the HEP Senate.
