The Bachelor of Electromechanical Engineering Technology with Honours program at UniKL University Malaysia prepares students to become skilled engineers in transportation, oil and gas, and process plants. The program combines knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and covers emerging technologies in energy efficiency and alternative energy solutions. The program aims to produce knowledgeable and competent graduates who are effective leaders, committed to lifelong learning, and ethical professionals. Upon graduation, students will have the ability to apply engineering knowledge, solve problems, and demonstrate teamwork and communication skills.

Entry Requirement

STPM/Matriculation/Foundation: 

Pass in STPM/Matriculation/Foundation or its equivalent, with minimum CGPA 2.0 and at least Grade C in Mathematics and one relevant Science subject

Graduates will be likely be employed by industries in the lucrative sectors such as the following:

  • Transportation industry with main products employing electric drive in railway, light rail transit and electric drives especially terrestrial transportation.
  • Plants using electrical equipment with associated drives such as refineries in oil and gas sectors, process control companies etc.
  • Manufacturers/designers employing/producing electric drives products.
  • Energy Providers (Utility Supply, Independent Power Producers etc )
