For students pursuing a bachelor's degree in information technology with honors, cyber security is an essential ability since it guards against unwanted access and assaults on computers, hardware, software, networks, programs, and electronic data. These assaults have the potential to change important data, extort money, or interfere with corporate operations. The growing number of gadgets and creative attackers make it difficult to implement effective protections. The increasing reliance on the Internet, computer systems, wireless networks, and smart gadgets has led to a growing relevance of the three principles of cybersecurity: confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
