The Bachelor of Real Estate program at Universiti Malaya (UM), established in 1996, aims to produce professional, holistic, balanced, and ethical graduates in the field of real estate. The program prepares students to effectively carry out real estate consultancy and tackle technical and management challenges in both national and global contexts.

This program is accredited by local and international bodies, notably the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers Malaysia (BOVAEP) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in the United Kingdom, with contributions from the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM). The syllabus has received recognition from these professional entities, ensuring that the program is professionally acknowledged both locally and internationally. This recognition broadens graduates' opportunities to work regionally and globally.

The program structure consists of a full-time study term lasting 3½ years, culminating in the award of a Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate upon successful completion.

Entry Requirements

STPM  

•  National Higher School Certificate (or an Advanced Level equivalent) with the grade 80% and above.
