Doctor of Philosophy in Analytical Chemistry By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on advanced research in the synthesis and characterization of materials and nanomaterials for analytical applications, utilizing both synthetic and natural resources.
This program emphasizes the development of diverse materials, such as synthetic ligands, photocatalytic materials, functional polymers, natural sorbents, and nanostructured materials.
Research areas include environmental cleanup, sensor technology, and the advancement of analytical methods. Students will explore electrochemical and optical analyses, chemical and biosensor development, and innovative water treatment procedures.
