Doctor of Philosophy in Animal Sciences By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) encompasses essential disciplines related to animal production, including anatomy, physiology, nutrition, reproduction, meat and dairy sciences, biotechnology, microbiology, agrostology, and biochemistry. The program also explores the study of farm animals, recreational animals, and captive wildlife.

Through rigorous research and advanced theoretical knowledge, students will develop a comprehensive understanding of animal sciences, enabling them to tackle complex challenges in animal production and welfare. This program equips graduates with the expertise necessary to make impactful contributions to the field of animal sciences.

Entry Requirements 

• A master’s degree in the field or related fields accepted by the UPM Senate.
