Doctor of Philosophy in Avian Medicine By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) offers an advanced study of diseases and their aetiological agents in poultry, exotic birds, and wild avian species. This program delves into the molecular mechanisms, epidemiology, pathogenesis, and pathology of these diseases, as well as treatment responses and the creation of diagnostic kits and vaccines.

PhD candidates will gain hands-on experience to cultivate specialized expertise in avian medicine, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases, particularly in exotic and wild bird populations. Entry Requirements
