Doctor of Philosophy in Biotechnology with Bio-entrepreneurship By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) offers an advanced study of biotherapeutics and their application in combating serious health issues, including cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and neurodegenerative disorders. This program provides a deep understanding of the mechanisms of action of bioactive compounds from biological sources using nutrigenomic approaches and targeted delivery systems.

PhD candidates will conduct extensive research focused on the development and commercialization of innovative bioactive compounds, as well as the establishment of a drug target library.
