Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) delves into advanced research on mental illnesses, behavioral disorders, and psychiatric issues. The program integrates scientific, theoretical, and clinical insights to promote the understanding and treatment of complex psychological problems.

PhD candidates will work alongside award-winning clinical psychologists, focusing their research on topics such as child and adult psychopathology, various psychological disorders, experimental psychopathology, and effective psychological treatments. The objective is to advance scientific knowledge and improve evidence-based assessment and intervention methods for mental health challenges.

Entry Requirements

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and a CGPA of at least 3.00 or equivalent from any university recognized by the Senate
