Doctor of Philosophy in Community Nutrition By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) offers an advanced study of the connections between food, nutrition, health, and diet-related disorders from policy, programmatic, and research perspectives. This program emphasizes in-depth exploration of current issues affecting food intake, nutritional status, and related morbidity and mortality.

PhD candidates will hone their skills in critically assessing research publications, preparing scholarly manuscripts, and delivering impactful seminar presentations. The program is designed to prepare graduates for significant contributions to the field of community nutrition, enhancing public health outcomes through evidence-based practices and interventions.

Entry Requirements

• A Master’s degree in the field or related fields accepted by the UPM Senate
