Doctor of Philosophy in Computational Mathematics By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) offers an in-depth exploration of computational techniques and their applications in solving diverse mathematical problems. This program emphasizes the importance of numerical analysis, aiming to achieve approximate solutions via sophisticated computer algorithms rather than purely analytical methods.

PhD candidates will focus on the numerical solution of various types of differential equations, including ordinary, delay, fuzzy, algebraic, and stiff equations. Research areas include the application of the Runge-Kutta method, multistep methods, hybrid techniques, block methods, and parallel computational approaches.
