Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Graphics By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) provides an advanced exploration of methods for digitally synthesizing and manipulating visual content. This program emphasizes generating effective and meaningful visuals from a wide range of data types, including images, videos, 3D models, and scientific data collected through sensors, with outputs displayed on screens, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, or holograms.

PhD candidates will conduct research that spans various applications, such as medical data visualization, scientific simulation, and IoT data representation, contributing significantly to fields that leverage computer graphics technology. The curriculum encompasses related studies in applied mathematics, computational geometry, and image processing.
