Doctor of Philosophy in English Literature By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) offers a comprehensive exploration of a broad range of literary works, including American, British, Malaysian, Australian, Canadian, African, Caribbean, and South-East Asian literature in English, as well as literature from the Indian subcontinent. 

This program emphasizes the application and critical analysis of literary theories and textuality, equipping students with the skills necessary for in-depth research.

 Through their studies, students will engage with diverse literary traditions and contribute original insights to the field of English literature.

Entry Requirements

• A Master's degree with a thesis in a related field
