Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Biotechnology By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on the interdisciplinary integration of sciences and engineering to develop biological systems for environmental restoration and sustainable resource management.

This program emphasizes eco-friendly processes and green technologies, combining modern biology and process engineering to create innovative solutions for sustainable development. Students will explore the optimization of natural resources for renewable energy, food, and nutrients, with applications such as biorefining. Graduates will be equipped to make significant contributions to environmental sustainability and conservation efforts.
