Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental System and Modelling By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) provides an in-depth examination of environmental systems, focusing on their processes, interactions, and changes over time. This program is designed to foster a comprehensive understanding of environmental dynamics, aimed at improving the management of human activities in relation to environmental systems.

PhD candidates will conduct rigorous research that includes environmental analysis and the modeling of the effects of management practices and environmental changes. The program also emphasizes the critical evaluation of various modeling approaches, equipping graduates to address complex environmental challenges and contribute to effective management strategies in conservation and sustainability efforts.

Entry Requirements

• A Master’s degree in the field or related fields accepted by the UPM Senate
