Doctor of Philosophy in Enzyme Biotechnology By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on the study of key food enzymes, particularly oxidoreductases and hydrolases.

This program integrates fundamental and applied enzymology, examining enzyme characteristics, kinetics, structural properties, and their practical applications. Students will utilize molecular techniques to enhance enzyme properties, aiming to improve food quality in processing and preservation. Graduates will be equipped to make significant contributions to advancements in enzyme biotechnology within the food industry.
