Doctor of Philosophy in Finance By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) addresses the increasing demand for a skilled workforce in the financial sector, driven by liberalization and advancements in the international financial arena. 

This program aligns with national objectives to cultivate a pool of finance professionals, including Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA), Certified Financial Planners (CFP), and Certified Islamic Financial Planners (CIFP). 

Through rigorous research and in-depth study, students will develop critical insights and expertise in finance, preparing them effectively for professional examinations and equipping them for impactful careers in the financial industry.

Entry Requirements 

• A Master's Degree by research in a field related to the field of PhD applied for.
