Doctor of Philosophy in Food Service Management By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on advancing knowledge in food service and hospitality management for those pursuing academic and professional careers. This program prepares graduates for teaching and research roles, such as college lecturers or industry consultants. 

Research areas include restaurant management, design and layout, menu planning, food culture, food tourism, culinary skills, gastronomy, cultural heritage, and sustainable food initiatives. Candidates will be equipped to make significant contributions to the field through innovative research and teaching excellence.
