Doctor of Philosophy in Forestry By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) is designed to cultivate advanced expertise in forestry science. This program delves into key areas including biology, botany, forest ecology, forest conservation, and ecosystem management. Research will focus on forest policy, governance, and the socio-cultural dynamics of forest ecosystems, along with planning methodologies and analytical techniques such as mathematical programming, simulation, game theory, and network analysis. Graduates will be prepared to lead initiatives in forestry research and management.

• A Master’s degree in the field or related fields accepted by the UPM Senate
