Doctor of Philosophy in Marine Ecology and Biodiversity By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) is designed to provide in-depth knowledge of the processes regulating and maintaining biodiversity in marine ecosystems. The program investigates population biology and community structure at various levels, employing both traditional and molecular methodologies. 

Students will explore the relationships between environmental factors and biodiversity to formulate effective management strategies for marine resources. This degree prepares graduates to engage in advanced research and contribute significantly to marine ecology and conservation efforts.

Entry Requirements

• A Master’s degree in the field or related fields accepted by the UPM Senate
