Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematical Physics and Engineering By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) provides an advanced exploration of the mathematical structures and techniques pertinent to the physical sciences and engineering. This program encompasses a comprehensive study of applied mathematics, focusing on fluid dynamics, continuum mechanics, and dynamical systems, alongside topics from quantum sciences and relativity.

PhD candidates will investigate novel mathematical frameworks that support quantum theory and space-time, along with foundational topics such as operator theory and equations of mathematical physics. Research interests include cracks, integro-differential equations, the principles of quantum theory, quantum information, and cosmological solutions.
