Doctor of Philosophy in Nanomedicine By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) offers an in-depth exploration of nanotechnology's application in medicine, focusing on the development and use of materials at the molecular and atomic scales. This doctoral program delves into diverse areas such as nanomaterials, nanoelectronic biosensors, and prospective applications of molecular nanotechnology.

PhD candidates will study the unique characteristics of nanomaterials for a variety of applications, including their role in cell imaging and innovative cancer therapies. The program encompasses five core disciplines: analytical tools, nanoimaging, nanomaterials and nanodevices, novel therapeutics and drug delivery systems, as well as clinical, regulatory, and toxicological issues. Graduates will prepare to advance the field of nanomedicine, contributing to new commercial applications in the pharmaceutical sector, including advanced drug delivery systems and in vivo imaging technologies.

Entry Requirements
