Doctor of Philosophy in Plantation Technology By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) is designed to advance knowledge in technology adaptation for plantation management. The program emphasizes phenotyping to assess plant traits critical for improving crop yields and agronomic properties. Research combines laboratory approaches, including genomic studies, with farm technologies like wireless sensors, UAVs, and robotics.
