Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology of Child Development By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) is designed to advance the understanding and application of theories related to child and adolescent development. The program focuses on the psychomotor, cognitive, and socio-emotional growth of children and adolescents from the prenatal stage to adolescence.

Students will conduct in-depth research into the direct and indirect influences of social and physical environments on developmental processes. Through rigorous inquiry, they will develop the expertise necessary to contribute significant insights to the field of child psychology and support the well-being of children and adolescents.

Entry Requirements 

• A master’s degree in the field or related fields accepted by the UPM Senate.
