Doctor of Philosophy in Safety, Health and Emergency Management By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) addresses the urgent need for experts with advanced knowledge and skills in safety, health, and emergency management in both community and organizational settings.
This interdisciplinary program encompasses a wide array of topics, including environmental risk management, natural hazards, business continuity, public health and safety, disaster risk reduction, crisis management, humanitarian aid, and complex emergencies.
Research efforts focus on developing innovative strategies to save lives and property, reduce damage, and enhance recovery from natural and human-induced disasters and emergencies. Students will be equipped with the expertise required for effective emergency management, public safety, and workplace health in an ever-evolving and challenging learning environment.
