Doctor of Philosophy in Sensor Technology By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) centers on advanced research in the design and development of sensors to address the growing demand for products and services that leverage information from various sensor types.
This program highlights the critical role of sensor technology in supporting diverse research and industrial applications, particularly in agriculture, water security, environmental monitoring, and green technology. Students will focus on developing sensor networks, with an emphasis on wireless sensor networks (WSN). While the program covers a range of sensors, the primary focus is on the design and development of electronic sensors, preparing students to make significant contributions to innovations in this essential field.
