Doctor of Philosophy in Soil and Water Engineering By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on advanced studies in the conservation and management of soil and water resources. 

The program explores the interactions between soils, plants, and water, emphasizing the design of irrigation and drainage systems. Utilizing tools like artificial intelligence, remote sensing, and GIS modeling, students will address challenges in agricultural communities.

Research areas include irrigation project management, erosion control, water quality improvement, and pollution reduction, aiming to develop sustainable solutions for effective land and water resource management.

Entry Requirements

• A master’s degree in the field or related fields accepted by the UPM Senate
