Doctor of Philosophy in Soil Science By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on advanced studies related to soil formation, classification, and the physical, chemical, and biological properties that influence soil fertility. The program aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance and maintain soil fertility, thereby supporting sustainable crop production.

Through comprehensive research and practical applications, students will develop expertise in soil science, enabling them to tackle contemporary challenges in soil management and contribute to sustainable agricultural practices.

Entry Requirements 

• A master’s degree in the field or related fields accepted by the UPM Senate.
