Doctor of Philosophy in Structural Biology By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on cutting-edge advancements in modern biochemistry and structural biology.

This program aims to deepen the understanding of the structure-function relationships of biological macromolecules, particularly proteins and enzymes. Students will employ state-of-the-art biophysical techniques, including X-ray crystallography, Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS), electron microscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry.

 The program also emphasizes hybrid methods that integrate computational tools with experimental data to elucidate complex macromolecular interactions. Graduates will be well-prepared to contribute to significant research advancements in structural biology.
