Doctor of Philosophy in Structural Engineering By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on advanced analysis and design of structures, civil engineering materials, construction methods, and industrialized building systems.

Research areas encompass high-performance concrete, alternative construction materials, computational mechanics, structural dynamics, seismic response, design evaluation, vulnerability assessment, retrofitting of structures, affordable housing design, and bridge assessment. Students will develop the expertise needed to tackle complex challenges in structural engineering and contribute innovative solutions to the field.

Entry Requirements

• A master’s degree in the field or related fields accepted by the UPM Senate
