Doctor of Philosophy in Translation and Interpretation By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on addressing both theoretical and practical concerns in translation and interpretation for scholars and practitioners. 

The program encompasses in-depth research on various related theories and techniques, including literary translation, linguistic challenges, cultural translation issues, and the dynamics of human versus machine translation. Additionally, it examines the social and economic implications of translation and interpretation.

 Through comprehensive research, students will develop advanced insights and expertise, preparing them to make significant contributions to the field of translation and interpretation.

Entry Requirements 

• A Master's degree with a thesis in a related field
