Master in Ethnic Studies By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) was established in response to the government's call for holistic advancement across various spheres, including politics, administration, science, technology, and social issues. This program aligns with the objectives of WKB 2030, SDG 2030, and the UPMKB Engineering Plan 2022.
Offered at the UPM Bintulu Campus, located in the multiethnic Borneo Islands shared by Malaysia, Indonesia, and Brunei Darussalam, this program focuses on the principles of Ethnic Studies. It enables scholars to explore the uniqueness of ethnic diversity and the cultures of ethnic minorities, fostering a deeper understanding of these vibrant communities.
