Master of Arts in Literary and Cultural Studies By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on the scholarly interpretation of literary and cultural texts, contemporary social phenomena, popular culture, and their historical contexts.

 The program encourages research that employs various approaches, including reader-response, textual analysis, and comparative analysis, alongside theories related to cultural production. 

Through rigorous investigation, students will develop critical insights into the complexities of literary and cultural dynamics, equipping them with the skills necessary to contribute meaningfully to the field of literary and cultural studies.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor's degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent.
