Master of Arts in Translation and Interpretation By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) addresses both theoretical and practical issues faced by scholars and practitioners in the fields of translation and interpretation. 

The program encompasses research on various related theories and techniques, including literary translation, language and linguistic challenges, cultural translation issues, and the comparison of human versus machine translation. Additionally, it explores the social and economic implications of translation and interpretation. 

Through rigorous research, students will develop a deep understanding of these aspects, equipping them with the skills needed to contribute meaningfully to the field.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor's degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent.
