Master of Education in Counselling By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) is designed to train school teachers and professionals in guidance and counselling, enhancing their knowledge and skills in alignment with the standards set by the Malaysian Board of Counsellors.

This program prepares graduates to provide counselling services to schools, families, and public institutions. It emphasizes in-depth knowledge of counselling theories, principles, and skills while fostering a scientific attitude and professionalism among students.

Graduates will be equipped to effectively carry out guidance and counselling tasks in various educational and community settings.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.75, as accepted by the HEP’s Senate
