Master of Education in Teaching of English as a Second Language By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) provides a comprehensive foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of teaching English as a second language at the graduate level. 

The curriculum encompasses key areas such as linguistics, TESL methodology, grammar, oral communication, literacy, testing and evaluation, and professional development within the ESL context. 

Students will develop the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively teach English to non-native speakers and enhance their teaching practices.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.75, as accepted by the HEP’s Senate
