Master of Electrical Power Engineering By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) encompasses a comprehensive range of topics, including industrial drive and control, power system analysis, power electronics, power generation and operation, protective relaying, high voltage engineering, lightning protection, electromagnetic compatibility, power system stability, power converters, electrical machine design, power system modeling and identification, power system control, and end-user technologies.

Through rigorous research, students will explore these critical areas, equipping themselves to address complex challenges in electrical power engineering and contribute innovative solutions to the energy sector.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
