Master of Environmental Engineering By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) emphasizes the application of technologies to enhance the environment for the benefit of humanity. The program provides students with a solid foundation in environmental engineering and management, equipping them with the skills to develop solutions for complex environmental issues that encompass technical, regulatory, social, and management challenges.

Key areas of study include the analysis and design of water treatment and distribution systems, wastewater and solid waste management, treatment and recovery, quality control, and pollution control and treatment. The concepts of "waste to wealth" and "zero waste" are also emphasized, fostering innovative approaches to environmental sustainability. Through rigorous research, students will be prepared to address pressing environmental problems and contribute effectively to the field.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
