Master of Food Engineering By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) emphasizes the application of process engineering principles to food processing operations. This program covers a range of topics, including the engineering properties of food, process design, modeling, simulation, and control, as well as the cleaning of food processing plants.
Students will engage in designing cost-effective food processing machinery, developing food products and value-added products, and exploring new technologies for both thermal and non-thermal food processing methods. Through rigorous research, students will gain the skills necessary to address challenges in food engineering and contribute to advancements in the food industry.
• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
