Master of Geospatial Engineering By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) emphasizes research in geospatial information acquisition, analysis, modeling, visualization, and applications. The program focuses on the design, development, and operation of systems for collecting, analyzing, and utilizing geospatial data related to land, oceans, infrastructure, natural resources, and the environment.
Key topics of study include data acquisition, surveying, photogrammetry, global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), location-based services (LBS), laser scanning, cartography, hydrography, and land information management.
