Master of Geotechnical and Geological Engineering By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on the engineering aspects and behaviors of soils and rocks and their applications in engineering structures.
The program covers a range of topics, including foundation design, slope stability, ground improvement, and the basic engineering properties of soil and rock. Additionally, students will explore geo-environmental issues such as soil erosion, sanitary landfills, contaminated ground, and toxic waste disposal. Through rigorous research, students will develop the expertise needed to address complex challenges in geotechnical and geological engineering.
• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
