Master of Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on the manipulation of genes and the study of proteins involved in metabolic pathways.

This program employs genetic engineering and molecular biology techniques applied across various fields, including medicine, agriculture, animal husbandry, and biotechnology. Students will explore how gene manipulation and an understanding of genetic mechanisms contribute to advancements in disease prevention and treatment, as well as the development of improved crops to enhance global food supply. Graduates will be equipped to make significant discoveries and innovations in molecular biology and genetic engineering.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree (with honours) in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 3.000
