Master of Process Safety and Reliability By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) is designed to meet the needs of practitioners and leaders in various organizations, focusing on informed decision-making regarding safety and loss prevention.
With the increasing demand for chemicals, food, and pharmaceuticals, the industry faces challenges in ensuring safer work environments while maintaining cost efficiency. Therefore, fostering a strong safety culture and developing reliable systems is essential.
This program provides a platform for developing the necessary skills for conducting accurate safety and reliability assessments. Research areas include risk assessment, modeling, and simulation of incidents such as fires and explosions, as well as exploring concepts of safety management and human performance improvement.
• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
