Master of Science in Agricultural Technology By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) emphasizes the integration of science and technology in modern agricultural production, focusing on stable and commercial practices. The program covers a range of topics, including molecular biology, agricultural genetic engineering, plant tissue culture, the use of microbes and biofertilizers, and plant-microbe interactions. It also explores controlled environments, automation in agriculture, information and communication technology, precision agriculture, remote sensing, and agricultural extension services.

Students will engage in cutting-edge research and practical applications aimed at enhancing agricultural efficiency and sustainability. 

This program prepares graduates to address contemporary challenges in agriculture through innovative technological solutions, equipping them for impactful careers in the agricultural sector.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate.
